Life WITH God: Under

As part of the Advent series 'God With Us,' we delve into the book of Haggai to explore the concept of 'Life Under God.' This mindset often reduces our relationship with God to a series of cause and effect, where blessings are expected for obedience and punishment for disobedience. However, this perspective is incomplete and can lead to despair and frustration. The book of Haggai teaches us that God's call is not just about obedience but about His presence with us. God urges the people to rebuild the temple, emphasizing that His presence is the foundation of their strength and motivation. Reflect on your relationship with God and consider if you are operating under a 'Life Under God' mindset. Shift your focus to the truth that God is with you because of His covenant, not your actions. Embrace the joy and strength of His unchanging presence as we continue through this Advent season.
