Intensifying Hope

Finding Hope in the Depths explores how Psalm 42-43 guides us through life's darkest moments. These lament psalms teach us that discouragement and faith can coexist, and that trusting God often intensifies our struggles before resolving them. As we bring our honest doubts to God, He exposes our deepest fears not to condemn but to heal us. Just as Jesus experienced increasing sorrow before joy (Heb 12:1-3), we too can trust that God will lead us through valleys to a place where He becomes our exceeding joy. The psalms give us permission to be vulnerable with God and others, knowing He meets us in our despair.
