A local church is not a building, or a meeting on Sundays. In the Bible, God refers to those whom He’s adopted into His family through faith in Jesus as “the Church.” The Church is God’s name for His collective people. And a local church is a local representation of God’s people, gathering regularly together to worship God and to encourage each other in their relationship with Him through Jesus.
Because church is not a building or merely a service on Sundays, you’ll hear us refer to our Sunday morning meetings as “the Gathering”. If you're not a follower of Jesus or if you're currently unconnected from a local church, we would love for you to join us at a Sunday morning Gathering!
We gather weekly at 10 am at 2335 Sixes Rd, Canton, GA 30114.
WHAT TO EXPECT
On Sunday mornings at 10 am. You can expect a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. People typically show up early to enjoy conversation over coffee. There’s no dress code; you’ll find everything from jeans and a t-shirt to slacks and a button down. Come however you feel comfortable.
During the Gathering, we sing songs of worship to God for who He is and what He’s done for us in Jesus, and we seek to hear from God through teaching from the Bible. We have developmentally appropriate care and learning opportunities for kids, infants through 5th grade.
You’ll see a lot of people using their talents to make our Sunday morning Gatherings run smoothly and to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all kinds of people. If you’re interested in finding out more about serving with us on Sunday mornings, please see our volunteer page!
